HEALTHY NEW START!

My interior decorator (aspiring) wife did a great job of picking out our new fridge. Being the smart husband I am, I stood clear of the selection process until I was requested to step in and nod my head in agreement. Now that our new fridge is all set for delivery, it’s my turn to step up and have some fun.

I am committing to filling our fridge with nothing but healthy clean foods… actually “nothing but” is kinda strong, lets just say our fridge will be the food storage equivalent of ivory soap “99.44%” pure. “Healthy” may be a bit of a stretch too, so Ill pledge to make sure the unhealthy stuff is at least “clean”. So if a brother buys some beef ribs, they will be from the farmers market, cut from a cow that lived all his long days eating grass and was butchered the day before my purchase.

Keeping the fridge and pantry pure has always been a challenge in my household.

But why eat the cow at all? I can't say I'm consistent in this because I do eat fish, but I did go for years as a strict vegetarian, and only went back to fish when I realized that there was something in it that I wasn't getting from other foods.

Eat the cow, vit. B12 does not typically lurk in vegetation. Besides, it tastes good. I don't think too many Tony Bourdain fans are vegetarians.

Well, cows never tasted that good to me, and I grew up eating them almost everyday. Then there are the ethical and environmental considerations, which sort of makes the real question one of how much misery we're willing to inflict so that we might enjoy the fleeting presence of a certain taste in our mouths. As for getting your B-12, multi-vitamins work.

Do spammers never proofread anything before they go about posting it all over the Internet? Need I ask?
