Grandma's Gone and Bloke Terror is ON

Ok so I need help naming the period of time that follows grandma’s departure. The bloke is unreasonable for 48-72 hours once grandma goes home. Unreasonable includes but is not limited to excessive yelling, fussing, sleeplessness and neediness.
Once I have a name for the condition I can make a plea for remedies and treatments for the problem. Maybe a virtual Grandma, or a tickle me grandma stuffed animal. Maybe we can videotape Grandma and play it back instead of letting the bloke watch Spongebob.

TILL ITS GONE!!!!!!

What a pleasant weekend. Grandma was in town and the bloke loved every minute of it. The young Mr. Green showed off his full catalog of playfulness and spoiledness. He enjoyed long walks to the water fountain, trips to home depot and gardening lessons. His parents (The Wife and I) enjoyed pre-parent like relaxation and pre-parent like restful nights.
I would like to shout out greyhound for safely transporting Grandma Green!

WIFEY GREEN

Even though my wife is not legally GREEN yet, she did manage to paint the wall in our living room GREEN!
Shout out to the WIFE for LIVING GREEN one step at a time.

BTW- she exceeded my expectations!

ARE YOU SLEEPING< ARE YOU SLEEPING?

This was supposed to be the first morning I walked before work. My plans were changed by my favorite little bloke. The knucklehead decided he wanted to sleep in the bed with mom and dad. This would not be a problem if it was possible for him to stay still, but the bloke tossed and turned all night. The joys of parenthood!

And so it goes!

Saturday, family day, was great. We hit up DC and walked Eastern Market. We went from the market to Adams Morgan where we enjoyed a light lunch at our favorite little coffee shop TRYST! The city was crazy due to Georgetown and George Washington University graduation. We couldn’t find parking in G-town so we hoofed it home after about three hours in the city.
On a sad note I went to visit my Aunt Gladys at George Washington Hospital. She is rather old and recovering in the intensive care unit (I am not sure exactly what landed her there). She was all alone when I stopped by but she was responsive to my questions despite not recognizing me. I told her, “Get better Old Lady!” and stroked the front of her old gray hair. More than anything I hope she is comfortable and free of pain.

Rock Wednesdays

starting today I will be ROCKING OUT Wednesdays with a rock/pop playlist. Blog Diversity is a 2008 initiative and I must align myself with the business goals (corporate talk).
